For Utah homeowners
Shades that open with the morning and close for the night.
Tell us about your windows. We help you pick the style and fabric, then measure, install and set the schedule.

What you get
Every window, one touch
- Privacy on cue. Close a room, a floor or the whole house from a keypad, the app or a schedule.
- Less glare and heat. Close the west windows before the afternoon sun hits the floors and the furniture.
- Dark for sleep. Blackout fabric, or a blackout drapery behind a sheer.
- The view, when you want it. Screen fabric cuts glare and keeps the view.
- One system. Every shade in the home works the same way.
Pick a style
Four ways to dress a window

The style
Drapery
Fabric on a motorized track. It opens to the side and clears the whole window.
Drapery adds softness, and it stacks to the side, so tall glass and sliding doors open all the way. Put a sheer and a blackout layer on two tracks, then run either one from a keypad or the app.
- Tall glass and sliding doors
- Bedrooms that need a blackout layer
- Rooms that want softness and texture

The style
Pocketed shades
The roller hides in a pocket in the ceiling. When the shade is up, you see only the window.
We plan the pocket with your builder before drywall. The shade drops from a slot in the ceiling, and the hardware stays out of sight.
- New homes and major remodels
- Clean, modern rooms
- Walls of glass that run to the ceiling

The style
Fascia shades
A slim cover hides the roller on the wall or in the window opening.
Fascia gives a finished look where there is no pocket. It suits a home that is already built.
- Finished homes
- Remodels after drywall
- Windows with no room for a pocket

The style
Open roll shades
The fabric roll and the brackets stay in view, as part of the design.
Open roll shades show the fabric and the hardware. With finished brackets, the hardware becomes a detail you choose.
- Deep window openings
- Rooms where the hardware is part of the design
- The simplest install

What to plan for
New home or finished home
- Building now. Ask for ceiling pockets and a shade wire at every window before drywall. The shades come later.
- Already built. Fascia and open roll shades mount on the wall or in the window opening. Battery shades need no wire, so the walls stay closed.
- Big glass. Tall windows and long walls of glass are made to measure, and drapery track can run the full length.
Can you add motorized shades to a home that is already finished?
Yes. Fascia and open roll shades mount on the wall or inside the window opening, so they need no pocket. Battery shades need no wire, so the walls stay closed. Depending on the motor, the batteries last 1 to 5 years between charges or changes.
How do I control motorized shades?
From a keypad on the wall, the app on your phone or your voice. Shades can also run on a schedule, so they open in the morning and close at sunset on their own. They tie into the home's lighting and control system, so one button can set the lights and the shades together.
Are motorized shades loud?
No. Our makers rate their shades between 35 and 50 dBA, measured 3 feet away, which is quieter than normal conversation. Shades in a group start and stop together, so a wall of them moves as one.
How much do motorized shades cost?
Every shade and drapery track is made to measure, so we quote after we see the windows. The size of each opening, the fabric, the style and the power drive the price. Our quote lists each shade on its own line by room, so you see exactly what goes where.
Do you install in Southern Utah?
Yes. We install across the Wasatch Front, in Park City and Heber, and in Southern Utah, including St. George, Santa Clara and Ivins. Tell us the address on the form and we plan the visit.
